Warranty

  • VSI believes our carbon products are durable enough for training and racing. Once you become part of the COREcarbon family we do everything in our power to keep you here. We design and manufacture products that will confidently survive the rigors of training and competition at the highest levels.
  • Therefore, we stand behind our product with the following warranties:
  • Extent of Limited Warranty
  • VSI provides this warranty to consumers who purchased VSI products from VSIBIKES website or from VSI preferred dealers.
  • CORE Frames
  • VSI warrants its frame sets to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 2 years after original purchase.
  • NOTE:
  • This warranty only applies to the original owner and is not transferable. Claims under this warranty must be made through the retailer where the VSI component was purchased. Original proof of purchase is required.
  • If the purchase was made through the VSI website, claims under the warranty may be made via e mail to: info@vsibikes.com. Original proof of purchase is required.
  • Limitations of Liability
  • To the extent allowed by local law, except for the obligations specifically set forth in this warranty statement, in no event shall VSI or its retailer be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Limitations of Warranty
  1. This warranty does not apply to products that have been incorrectly installed and/or adjusted.
  2. This warranty does not apply to damage to the product caused by a crash, impact damage, abuse of the product, neglect, non-compliance with specifications of usage or any other circumstances in which the product has been subjected to forces or loads beyond its design.
  3. This warranty does not apply when the product has been modified.
  4. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear.
  5. This warranty shall not cover damages caused by the use of parts of different manufacturers. This warranty shall not cover damages caused by the use of parts that are not compatible, suitable and/ or authorized by VSI.
  6. This warranty does not cover damage caused by vis major.
  7. This warranty shall not cover damages resulting from commercial (rental) use.
  • Details about warranty period:
  • Step 1: Send an email to: info@vsibikes.com telling us about the problem with the purchased product.
  • Step 2: Take photos or video to show us the problem.
  • Step 3: We will analyse the problem based on the pictures or video or in person, where possible.
  • Step 4: We will confirm what caused the problem and give you feedback.
  • Please note:
  • Products returned to VSI will be sent to the factory to finish all the testing:
  • ·   If the products have a factory defect/quality problem, VSI will pay all expenses.
  • ·   If the problem was caused by human error, example of incorrect TORQUE SETTINGS, the customer will be responsible for the expenses and the warranty will be null and void.
  • TORQUE SETTINGS:
  • Road Handlebars: Max 4 Nm
  • Integrated Road Handlebar: Max 6 Nm for the stem.
  • Seatpost: Max 6Nm
  • Stem: Max 4Nm
  • We strongly recommend the use of carbon fixing paste when the handlebar and seatpost is installed.
  • To activate the warranty all customers must register the Frameset at: info@vsibikes.com. (Click on this Button to register Frameset online). The information must include a description of the Frameset, where purchased and Date of actual purchase.
